Integrated Project Delivery: It Really Works
This podcast interview features Marnique Heath, AIA and Tom Krajewski, P.E., DBIA, LEED AP discussing a real world example of Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) in action. Marnique and Tom are the architect and contractor, respectively, on the AIA’s 21st Century Workplace project. The project is a comprehensive renovation of the AIA building in Washington, DC. And, IPD is being used as the delivery method for this large-scale, urban renovation project.

AIA Contract Documents 4.0 Software
The AIA launches an updated version of AIA Contract Documents Software in Spring 2009. The new version – Version 4.0 – includes a number of significant upgrades and new features which make using the AIA’s software easier than ever. AIA's 2009 Construction Manager Documents
In 2009 the AIA launched new Construction Manager documents. This includes updated Construction Manager as Adviser (CMa) and Construction Manager as Constructor (CMc) documents. Updates to the 2009 CMa and CMc documents address dispute resolution, the Initial Decision Maker, contractor payment, and digital data. In this interview, Sue McClymonds, 2009 chair of the AIA's Documents Committee, provides an overview of the new Construction Manager documents.

AIA’s BIM Protocol Exhibit and Newest IPD Documents
In October 2008 the AIA introduces the BIM Protocol Exhibit, a new tool which helps manage the use of BIM across an entire project. In addition, the Institute introduces two new agreements for the Single Purpose Entity family of Integrated Project Delivery documents. 2008 AIA Integrated Project Delivery Agreements
In May 2008 the AIA released the Institute's first ever agreements for integrated project delivery. Implementing principles and concepts laid out in “ Integrated Project Delivery: A Guide, ” the AIA provides agreements for two levels of integrated project delivery. The first type is transitional and offers a comfortable first step into integrated project delivery; the second type introduces a fully integrated way of delivering a design and construction project. In this podcast two members of the AIA Documents Committee discuss the new agreements, their features, and their potential for application in an integrated project delivery environment.

The AIA is about to release the 2007 revisions of Document A201TM and its associated owner-contractor agreements.
